Project Details

The New Head Start Facility in Wilburton, Okahoma, completed in 2011, replaced a nearby existing facility with a new 6,745 SF building for the Choctaw Nation Head Start Program in Wilburton. The newly constructed building features 2 Head Start Classrooms, a PT/OT therapy room, administration and teacher support offices. Meals for students are prepared in the facility's full kitchen and served in the dining facility. The Dining Facility also serves as the building's Storm Shelter, and is constructed with reinforced concrete walls & roof deck with tornado missile resistant doors for the safety of staff & students.
